The Student International Business Council (SIBC) at the University of San Diego (USD) School of Business is a privately endowed, student-led organization dedicated to peace through commerce. Focused on leadership, international business and responsible business conduct, the long-term goal of the council is for you to develop into a business professional who plays a fundamental role in peace around the world. SIBC completes several projects every year in collaboration with business leaders in the San Diego area such as with USD School of Business Alumni, giving you real world experience using commerce to facilitate positive change. Through SIBC, you also have the opportunity to travel outside of the United States to attend leadership conferences and complete internships.

“SIBC is an amazing organization that gave me opportunities as a freshman that I would not have been able to find anywhere else. I wish more people knew about the invaluable experiences that the council has to offer.”

- Caroline Murray

The University of San Diego School of Business is one of only three universities in the nation with a privately endowed student-run Student International Business Council (SIBC). The other two being at Benedictine College and the University of Notre Dame.

"USD offers a great education that is complemented by the opportunity to work with organizations like SIBC. Through SIBC, I've had the opportunity to get real hands on business experience and work with some incredibly talented students. Finally, SIBC introduced me to new friends that I may never have met otherwise. The people that make up the growing community that is SIBC, are truly Special, bright and future leaders of industry."
